WE CAN’T ALWAYS WIN
The photo taken before the match summarizes the best moment of the match: our fantastic Brera spirit that makes us “anyway winners”.
The second fixture of the championship saw us facing Riozzese, last in the standings. After the extraordinary victory in Warsaw, we thought we could no longer find any obstacles that could stop us. In fact, after just 10 minutes of play, a beautiful choral action allowed Francesco Marchetti to put us ahead of Manuel Garcia’s assist. Then things got a bit complicated and the opponents firs grabbed the draw with a penalty and then, at the end of the first half, got the lead.
Back on the pitch in the second half, we immediately drew the game with Jesus Calle, but when things had to go in the right direction to bring home the victory, the accumulated fatigue made itself felt and the opponents found the goal of the definitive 3-2 in the minutes finals of the second fraction.
Unfortunately, our Under 19 also clearly lost the league match against Club Milanese.
In short, we paid a little for the extraordinary Polish adventure, but don’t worry, we’ll make it up again next weekend. Forza Brera!
