A GOOD DRAW
Albeit with a bit of delay, we update you on the last round of the championship which began with a disappointing Saturday in which our junior Regional A lost at home against the highly motivated opponents of Casalpusterlengo, good at exploiting our defensive lightness by winning by measure. Marian Dragoi’s youngsters have found a good set-up but seemed very emotionally discharged. It is absolutely necessary to regain the same determination of the last matches!
On Sunday, with some last-minute forfeits, we faced Real Melegnano away, on a well-maintained and enormously sized pitch. For our players – more dedicated to talent than training – the mission was anything but simple. After a first half closed at 0-0, Karim the Dream Abo el Ata slapped in the back of the net a deflected shot on the crossbar by the Scandinavian giant Marius Lunder Jensen
When everything seemed to be going well, an ingenuity in the area conceded a penalty to the opponents, promptly neutralized by the feline Abdou Wahab Drame who, however, could do nothing on the next tap-in.
Our streak of positive results is getting longer and on Sunday we have a very difficult match against the highly rated Rozzano.
In the meantime, Brera Basketball closed the qualifying phase with two more victories between Friday and Monday, finishing at the top of the league table: the climb towards promotion will resume at the end of March in the Gold classification phase 🏀 Always forza Brera!
